
Carer
To provide high-quality, compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes and in care home settings, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Deliver personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility, in line with individual care plans.
Support service users with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, feeding, medication administration (where trained), and household tasks.
Encourage and support independence, social engagement, and emotional wellbeing.
Observe and report changes in service users’ physical or mental health to the supervisor.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records in line with company and regulatory standards.
Comply with all Health & Safety, safeguarding, and infection control policies.
Provide companionship and emotional support, building positive relationships with service users.
Work flexible hours across multiple locations as required.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to varying work environments.
Awareness of Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous care experience preferred but not essential; training will be provided if required.
Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care) advantageous.
Full enhanced DBS check required prior to starting.
Valid driving license and access to a vehicle may be advantageous for community roles.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, assisting with mobility, and supporting service users with personal care.
Comfortable working across multiple environments, including private homes and care homes.
Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Full enhanced DBS check required and must be maintained.
