
Forklift Driver
To safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse or production environment, ensuring efficient handling of goods and compliance with all Health & Safety regulations.
Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move, stack, and organize goods within the warehouse.
Load and unload delivery vehicles accurately and safely.
Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse or production area.
Conduct daily safety checks and routine maintenance on the forklift.
Ensure all stock is handled carefully to prevent damage.
Assist with stock control, including checking, labeling, and recording stock movements.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following company Health & Safety policies.
Report any equipment faults, safety hazards, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Support warehouse colleagues with general duties as required.
Counterbalance forklift license is essential.
Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment.
Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock handling procedures.
Strong focus on Health & Safety and ability to follow procedures.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
Valid counterbalance forklift license (mandatory).
Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
Capable of handling heavy materials and performing physically demanding tasks.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be worn at all times where applicable.
Commitment to Health & Safety, company policies, and procedures.
Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, or overtime as required.
